Blood Chem

Well I'm a 19 years old guy from Batangas,Philippines, a graduating student and a very fond eater of junk foods....as a student I am always near the pressure of studies not to mention the Thesis I need to finish and that resulted for me to ACTUALLY gain a lot of weight...i even needed to change all my clothes since they do not fit me anymore....but thats not the problem....i have a sister that works at a nurse in one of the local hospitals here in batangas....as you know that also made me very aware on whats happening inseide the hospital with all of her stories about her patients and all..one time she talked about this particular patient that got admitted after a one time check up...he was diagnosed with a chronic kidney failure without symptoms....he even talled the doctor that he did not feel any symptoms occuring...and he undergone a series of blood transfusion....when i heard that i was greatly disturbed since i lived a pretty bad lifestyle since i was young...only eating junkfood and never exercising...i was PARANOID....i thought that i might have the same kind of situation as in the story of my sister...and since i was really affected of this story, i thought that a blood chem would be a good way to know my health standing...and so i took one, i tell you the hardest part was not having your blood taken by a seringe but the time you need to wait before getting the result....it was...how could i put it...painstalking...every minute seems like forever.....and the time came....the results were out....and i am okay...i'm still in a normal range....what a relief....but what happened really changed my life....it made me value my body more....and i hope that this tory would make you value yours as well...thank you!
